With the new solution, Netz Burgenland is now not only able to read remotely all meters. All Netz Burgenland households also have complete transparency and can track their energy consumption via a consumer portal. The necessary data is transmitted live from the meters.

Smart meter rollout in Europe - for Austria, this means equipping 95 percent of households with smart meters by the end of 2022.
