Jesper Klingsten Nielsen, Senior Product Manager, Smart Grid, Landis+Gyr: Born in Denmark in 1978. Jesper, in 2004,received his master's degree in high voltage engineering (power engineering) – specializing in the electrical withstand of composite materials.
Jesper joined PowerSense in January 2007 as a R&D engineer and through this job been heavily involved in the Smart Grid specification process, this includes: Standardization and specification work related to Smart Grid, understanding key customer grid requirements and hardware/software development.
In his previous job at nkt cables a/s, Jesper specialized in designing complex thermal cable models, in high voltage type testing and in the technical preparation of international tenders for key accounts.
In 2011 Jesper finalized the Executive MBA program at Copenhagen Business School.
